Our Varnett Southwest Pre-K 4 grandparents did not miss out on the opportunity to celebrate Grandparents Day with their grandchildren Monday, Sept. 12.
Our intergenerational celebration consisted of a breakfast, bingo for the grandparents and an art project.
It was a beautiful to see the generations unite. Our goal was to make our grandparents feel appreciated and I believe we accomplished our goal.
Many families in the United States often rely on their parents to help raise their children. Often, our little ones are a grandparent's dream come true.
We observe National Grandparents Day on the first Sunday of September after Labor Day. This day we honor grandparents everywhere.
Thank you Varnett Pre- K 4 grandparents. We love you and appreciate each and every one of you for the support you give our students.
