Character Day

On Friday, October 31, our preschool students had the opportunity to participate in our school Character Day parade.

The students were energized and ready to show their costumes to the kindergarten through 5th grade students.  Parents and staff were a part of the crowd cheering  on the students. They paraded from the Southwest PreK building and onto the parking lot before marching around the playfield. As they were wrapping up, students from the main Southwest Campus gathered and began their own Character Day parade.

After our parade, we finished off with a Character Day party.  The goal was to provide a safe environment with food and dance as a form of entertainment  as an alternative to Halloween and trick-or-treating for the children.
