Southwest pre-k students held a Disney Dance Friday, April 29, to wrap up a month of storybook reading. During this time, they learned about the parts of a book, characters, settings and costumes. Students dressed as their favorite characters and showed pride in what they had discovered. In addition to the Disney Dance, the students were given treats and snacks. "The kids have a profound purpose and understanding of reading," said Mrs. Cheyne Brown, the campus director.
