Daingerfield High School in Morris County, Texas, donated school supplies to Varnett's Southwest Campus to help those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
"On behalf of Daingerfield-Lone Star ISD, we hope that the school supplies donated to Varnett Elementary will aid in the rebuilding and healing of your school community," wrote Ms. Sharmeca Harris, assistant principal. "Our thoughts and prayers are with your administration, faculty/staff and students during this time."
Dr. Margaret Stroud, Varnett's superintendent, thanked the high school, the district and Mr. Patrick Johnson of J-S.T.A.R. (Johnson's Success Through Attitude and Respect) Ministries. Mr. Johnson and Mr. Dennis Jones delivered the supplies to the campus.
