Red Ribbon Week: students too smart for drugs

Teachers and staff delivered an important message to PreK and kindergarten students in their celebration of Red Ribbon Week, Oct. 26-30.

This year's theme was three-fold: be happy, be brave, be drug-free. The intent was to help students realize the importance of saying "no" to drugs. It was fun for students and staff to dress accordingly:
  • Monday, Oct. 26 -- Unite to be drug-free. Wear red shirts with blue jeans.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 27 -- Too smart for drugs. Dress like a nerd.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 28 -- Team up against drugs. Wear any sports-related jersey or shirt.
  • Thursday, Oct. 29 -- Wear green and blue to show school spirit
  • Friday, Oct. 30 -- Spook out drugs.
