The 100th Day of School
From the start of the school year, we begin counting in anticipation of the 100th Day of School. The instructional day allows the student to dress like they are 100 years old, present projects that reflect 100 items, participate in math activities, find hidden pictures and represent 100 in various forms (pictorial, words, tally, number, ten frames, number line, fingers, etc)
Go Texan Day (February 26, 2021)
Each year we look forward to seeing our students in hats and boots and this year was no exception. Although, things have been a little different this year students came dressed in their best "Go Texan style," and they were recognized during lunch for participating.
Black History Month
This year students learned daily about an African American person who contributed to the world we live in. This included classroom activities and daily read- aloud during the instructional day.
Thanks to all who participated.
