Students demonstrate the meaning of 'Go Fly a Kite!'

Friday, March 27th was a beautiful day for students and staff to fly kites.

There were many students who bought kites to fly of all sizes, shapes, colors and characters. Many of us competed to see who could fly kites the highest and the fastest.

Our preschool is known for taking advantage of having educational opportunities outside.  We would like to thank our parents who continue to support and encourage our staff to be innovative with the lessons that we teach.  There were so many students who were able to fly a kite for the first time.

The Southwest PreK activity coincided with the Second Annual Hermann Park Kite Festival, which attracted thousands of kite flyers and spectators.
