Nearly 150 Southwest PreK-4 students received certificates during a promotion ceremony at Westbury United Methodist Church on Wednesday, June 3rd.
The church was filled with family members who eagerly cheered on their children. Students were extremely proud to exhibit what they had learned throughout the school year. More than 200 guests attended the event, leaving only a few seats available.

The 141 students came from seven classes. Parents brought cameras and took several pictures of their loved ones during the 90-minute ceremony. Several students waved to their parents as they received their promotion certificates.
