Parents battle Pre-K staff in 2nd Annual Kickball Contest

Parents and Pre-K staff engaged in the 2nd Annual kickball competition at the Southwest Campus playfield April 13.

It was the same result as the first contest, with parents winning for the second straight time. The score was 13-9, much closer than last year's shellacking when staff lost  21 to 4.

But it's not the score that counts. The event was a fundraiser for the kids, who watched from the bleachers. Who were most cheering for? The staff, of course.

The event was another example of parents and staff coming together to show support for the children and to interact with one another.

The rules of kickball are very similar to that of baseball. However, instead of hitting a baseball, a kickball player kicks a rubber ball. The goal is to score runs/points by running around and touching all four bases in order without getting out.

Everybody had a great time.

Thanks to all of the parents who participated. "This is all about the kids," one parent said.
