Perfect-attendance students earn gifts -- and a special visit

The Early Childhood Education campus rewarded 69 students with gifts for attending classes every day since the school year began on Aug. 21, 2017.
The pre-k and kindergarten students also received a visit and a hug from the Chick-fil-A cow mascot from Meyerland Plaza.
Administrators handed out gift cards for a Chick-fil-A children's meal, certificates of perfect attendance, pencils with "perfect attendance" inscribed and medals. The perfect-attendance awards ceremony acknowledges students who haven't missed a day of school during a six-week period.
GreatSchools says that perfect attendance is important because students are more likely to succeed in academics when they attend school consistently. It’s difficult for the teacher and the class to build their skills and progress if a large number of students are frequently absent, the organization says.
Congratulations to all of our perfect-attendance students!
